Griffin Liam Nebesiank has been born!

Shannon, Trevor, Lexi, Lainey and Ryder welcomed Griffin into this world yesterday afternoon. We went and visited tonight and he's a cutie pie. Lots of dark hair! We can't wait until he's big enough to run around with the rest of the nieces and nephews.

Ryder and Ian had more fun looking out the windows and playing with Ryder's trains!

Brandon's Birthday Party

Ian's best friend, Brandon, had his 4th birthday party at Sun Valley Lanes on Sunday. There were 7 little kids bowling and it was a little crazy but all had a good time.

I'm not sure what Kaylee (Brandon's little sister) is doing here but thought it was a super cute picture.

Every time Ian bowled he had to sit like this until the ball hit the pins - he did not quite understand the game because he thought he was losing every time when he did not get all of the pins knocked down. It's hard trying to explain to a 3 year old that you want to try to knock all of them down but if you don't it's okay.

Ian had to be in on the opening of gifts - especially the race car track he picked out for Brandon.

All the kids enjoyed cupcakes and juice.

Here are all of them. I'm not sure what Ian was doing to Deni but I think he was trying to hug her!

Early Thanksgiving

Last Saturday both of my brothers and their girlfriends were in town so we had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It was fun to be all together for dinner.

Daniel and Sheena live in Chicago - hopefully they will move back to the Lincoln/Omaha area so we can see them more. I'd love to go and visit them this spring in Chicago since I've only been there a couple of times. Marcus and Meghan live in Windsor, CO and we can't wait for them to get married in June.

March of Dimes

Tonight was the March of Dimes Signature Chef's Auction. I've gone to this event for the last 4 years and always have a great time. They have all the best Chef's in town there with food to enjoy while you bid on silent auction items. Then they have a fun raffle and the night ends with the live auction. This year was the best by far because I got some great stuff!!!!! The raffle was for 2 boxes of alcohol. I WON!!!! There are 20 bottles of different alcohol and then a gift certificate for a keg of beer from Empyrean Brewing Company. Sorry mom and dad I was a little excited there are not 30 or 40 bottles like I originally told you. Then during the live auction I got a great deal on a 2 night day stay with 2 lift tickets at Keystone.

So I decided to dress it all up to surprise Chris as a Christmas present! I'm sooooo excited. He's at band right now so he'll be home anytime to see the haul I made! I'll post those pictures later. So if anyone is ready to drink and visit Keystone let us know - we'll give you a great deal!!

I love the March of Dimes. I think they do wonderful things for families like us that have premature babies and I'm glad I could have such an exciting night while knowing the money I used is being donated to a WONDERFUL organization. This makes me that more excited for the walk in the Spring. The walk is when I feel I can really make a difference by raising money!

Halloween 2008

We had a fun filled weekend with Halloween adventures. Friday night Ian and I went around to a few houses to trick-or-treat. Ian was a firefighter and I was an 80's rock girl.
Then Ian went to spend the night with Grandma Kershaw so I could go to Chris' show at Duffy's. It was a fun filled night - at least until I got home! There were a lot of great costumes. I had more fun people watching than anything.

Chris & Pat made great rockers in the WolfPuss band!

80's rocker chic, a great witch and Sarah Palin!

Saturday night we had our annual Halloween party.
There were lots of great costumes. We had tons of fun and can't wait for next year!
Amber & Lindsey made the trip from Omaha and Kearney - we were all so happy they came!

Brad & Liz made a great Sunny & Cher.

Can't get much better than Zach's white trash and Shawn as Jesus without a beard!

Allison, Brooke and Brad had a great group outfit and it was hilarous seeing
Wilma and Betty fighting with belts around there arms in the backyard.

Trevor and Dave were in the running for best costume.

But it was Amy & Pat that took home the WINNERS crown. Not many people
could pull of Steve Irwin capturing an alligator with that much ease.

We had lots of FUN so THANKS so everyone that came.
And mark it on your calendar October 31st, 2009 - Nebesniak Halloween Party!
