Camping

We brought Ian's tent camping with us a few weeks ago. Trevor, Shannon, Ryder and Griffin came out to visit. Ryder and Ian had fun playing in the tent. They kept peeking their heads out.

Learning to Mow

Chris is teaching Ian early! I was in the house a couple of weeks ago and looked out and Ian was helping Chris. It was a cute moment between father and son!!

In May we had two bridal showers for Hanigan cousins. They were both out at the farm and Ian loved playing with Hailey who we don't get to see very often. For one of the showers Deni and Ryder were also there so they had lots of fun all playing together.
I love this picture because the girls are being so cute and Ian wanted nothing to do with a picture especially with "the girls."
Nebesniak cousins enjoying a little swing!

Swim Lessons

Ian has taken a couple of sessions of swim lessons and loves it!! A couple weeks into the second session we got his a pair of goggles and he barely comes above water now! I got this picture before class one day and then afterwards I had to take a picture of his eyes. I'm guessing his goggles never moved the entire hour so he had some major goggle eyes going on.

Happy Father's Day!

We got Chris some DVDs for father's day. Braveheart - one of his favorite movies. And then season 5 & 6 of Family Guy. Ian picked out the card all by himself because there were frogs on it but then after reading it and finding out there was a knock knock joke on it Ian loved it more for Chris. It was pretty cute to see how excited Ian was to give Chris his presents. I think mainly because he wanted to help open them. The best was when Chris was opening the last present and he looked at Ian and said "Do you know what it is?" Ian of course replied "Yes, it's Family Guy!" It was pretty funny. Such a cute kid! And what a GREAT guy I'm married to!! I can't wait for this little baby in me to meet his DAD!

A couple weeks ago I found this table at a garage sale. I knew Amanda (daycare provider) wanted to get a second one for the kids to play in. We got it home and cleaned it up. Ian had to play with it before taking it to daycare. I ran into the house to do something and when I came out Ian was in his birthday suit. I asked him why he was naked and he replied "but mom I did not want my shorts to get wet." I thanked him for thinking of that but said it was okay to wear his shorts and get them wet. So I got him back into his shorts to play only to watch him completely climb in - I don't think that's what the table is for buddy! He had fun anyway and now his friends at daycare can enjoy it. Hopefully none of them strip down!

Marcus & Meghan's Rehearsal

Ian did not get a nap in the day of rehearsal - there was just too much going on so he fell asleep on the way to the church. He's a pretty heavy sleeper so Chris just laid him in a pew and he slept for a good 20 minutes before he was needed. This pictures makes it look like he's just hanging out but he's sounds asleep!

Here are a few pictures from the rehearsal dinner. My parents had this at the hotel which was nice - just a short walk to our room!

Sleepy

Ian has started to play with his baby lately. He used to carry it around all the time and then in the last year he's lost interest. But I think because of all the talk about our new baby he's got back into taking care of his baby. One night I went to check on him before my bed time and this is how he was sleeping. I had to take a picture. He's going to be such a GREAT BIG BROTHER!

New Honda Pilot

We just bought a Honda Pilot. We needed something a little bigger with the baby coming but also something that could pull our camper or jet ski. We are really happy with it so far and hope it will hold out for quite a while!!

Seeds

Ian loves to eat sunflower seeds and when we were camping about a month ago Chris tried to teach Ian so he was not spitting the entire time.
