Horse
Ian has a favorite horse right now that pretty much goes every where with us. We almost left it Aunt Janet and Uncle Bruce's house but lucky remembered as we were pulling out of the driveway! Here's Ian and horse in the car!

Remodel Time
We have not done major work to our house for about a year and a half but now that we are getting close to having baby #2 we have started a project. We (Chris!) are working on finishing off a room in our basement for an office.
Chris spend most of a Sunday ripping out the walls, ceiling and carpet.

Then we made our first trip to Menards - I'm guessing there will be many more to follow in the next couple of months!

Preschool
I can't believe our baby is going to start preschool this year. Crazy how fast time goes and they grow up. We got all of the paperwork and one of the things they wanted you to send back was a picture to put on their cubby. So this is Ian's Preschool picture!
We've been starting to talk about Preschool so that Ian is a little prepared. We went out to dinner one night and were talking about it and Ian got all quiet and said "I'm a little nervous about school." Which was then followed by wanting lots of hugs and love. It was the cutiest thing ever. We explained to him that we'd go with him a couple days before to see his room and meet his teacher which he warmed up to a little bit. We'll see how it all goes - he starts at the end of August. Our little boy will be in school - so it starts!

Zoo
We took a trip to the Lincoln Zoo on a beautiful Saturday morning. It was a perfect day!
Daddy and Ian being Harpy Eagles in the big eagle nest.
Ian touching the big grasshopper. The funniest part about this part of our zoo trip was that as soon as the zoo worker turned towards us and said would you like to touch a grasshopper Chris was out the door faster than lightening. Luckily Ian is a little bravier - although not a much - he just about killed a butterfly that landed on him in the butterfly house.

Sleepy Ian
The other night I went to check on Ian and this is how he was sleeping. I guess he was pretty tired and did not care.

Children's Museum
On Thursday nights in the summer the Lincoln Children's Museum has a children's band play in the parking lot. We went last week and had a lot of fun. We enjoyed a snow cone while listening to the band.

Then we went inside to play a little bit. Ian had to plant a garden!

Then he had to play in the fire truck with the hat on!

Estes Park
After Marcus and Meghan's wedding my dad's family all went to Estes Park for a little getaway!
The first day we took a long hike up to Emerald Lake.
This is Ian and my cousin, Nicole. They climbed up closer to the falls.

One day for lunch we went to a Tapas restaurant. Ian saw my plate and said I want some of your chicken so I gave it to him to try. But it was not chicken it was calamari. He actually really liked it even after we told him what it was. It was pretty funny and cute how he was proud about eating it! Just ask him sometime!
One afternoon we went to the colorful slides. Ian loved them!

Marcus & Meghan's Wedding
I'm finally getting pictures up of the wedding. I have so many I could post but these are some of my favorites. We had a great time and can't believe it's been a month and a half since the big day!
Ian chillin during pictures!

Hanging with the guys!
Blowing bubbles after the ceremony with dad!
Ian was lucky to ride in the limo with all of us and he got the best seat in the house - in the back with Marcus & Meghan.

The happy couple!

Marcus and my Mom.

The reception had an outdoor patio and Ian had the most fun pouring champagne on the floor light. He said he was making smoke.

Ian got a dance with Meghan!

Ian was tired after the long day.
