Visitors

We were not very good about taking pictures of the people that visited us while we were in the hospital. But we did get a pretty good picture of Aunt Amy, Borne, and cousin Deni.
But we want to THANK everyone that visited us in the hospital while we celebration the arrival of Borne!

Halloween Decorations

So our breezeway is all decorated for Halloween. We have a couple of spider guests. When they first started making their webs we were going to kill them but then never did and before we knew it the web was huge and then I felt kind of like we couldn't. I'm sure others look at our breezeway and think we are crazy but they are pretty cool. I'm just glad they are outside of our house and not in it!

Big Brother Ian

This is the first picture of Ian walking into the room after Borne arrived. The nurse was nice enough to take it. I think it's so cute. He immediately had a smile and loved his new little brother. He also picked out four beautiful flowers. One for mommy, one for daddy, one for Ian, and one for Borne.
Borne brought Ian a little present for the big day and Ian loved it. Although it started a trend. When someone would walk in our hospital room the first thing Ian would say was "Did you bring me a present?" Chris had to have a little talk with him about not asking that and not expecting presents. But all of the people that visited are wonderful and brought him gifts. I think he'd like to get a new baby everyday with the way he received gifts. It was pretty funny because after Chris talked to him someone would walk in the door Ian would look at Chris and say "Dad I'm not going to ask if they brought me a present." And then he would just stare at the visitor until they gave him a gift!

Borne William Nebesniak

It's a BOY! Borne William Nebesniak joined us yesterday (10-13-09) at 1:27pm. He weighted 7lb 12oz and was 20.5 inches long. He looks a lot like his older brother Ian except Borne has dark hair!

He's absolutely perfect and we can't wait to see what our future holds with two little boys!
Ian got to meet Borne about 20 minutes after he was born. Ian was super excited and is going to be a GREAT big brother!

Happy 6th Anniversary!

So today Chris and I celebrated 6 wonderful years of marriage! I can't believe that time has gone so fast and so much has changed.

We had Ian and now baby #2 will be here in less than 2 days - our family grows!

I love Chris so much and he truly is my best friend and I can't imagine where I'd be without him. He knows my worse and best and still loves me!

I can't wait to see what the next 6 years brings us!

PaperBackSwap.com

So I found the website paperbackswap.com and I'm hooked. I have a fairly large bookshelf in my room that is full of books that I've read and will probably never read again. I just don't read a book again unless I do it by mistake so when I found this website I thought it was great.

I think I've posted about 35 books so far and I think I've gotten rid of about 10 of them. How it works is you post your first 10 books and get 2 credits. Each credit is worth a book you can order from other member. Then once you mail out one of your books to another member you get another credit for more books. So the cost for you is to mail out your books to other members. But you can use the paperbackswap.com postage program so you can print the postage at home and it's media rate which is pretty cheap. So far the most I've spent is $3.00 which for a book from someone else is not bad in my mind. Plus I feel good about someone else being able to read a book that I enjoyed.

I would highly recommend it to anyone that has a lot of books and wants to get rid of a few of them and get others in return!

Preschool Artwork

Here are a few pieces of artwork that Ian has brought home from preschool. It's always fun when he brings these home because his teacher always asks what he drew and then she writes on the picture. Some are pretty obvious but others are not so and it's funny how a 4 year old mind works!
The above pictures says: A Tree by Ian Field Trip Coming - they went on a field trip this week!

This is one of those pictures that you are not quite sure what it's supposed to be but Ian tells his teacher:

Baby Ian

Aunt Shannon ran across this picture a couple weeks ago and emailed it to me. This is from Ryder's 1st birthday party so Ian would have been around 6 months old. I love seeing pictures of when Ian was little. He was just a round ball ofchubbiness - and that smile! It's still hard to believe my baby boy is almost 4 1/2 and baby #2 is on the way. Our family is changing!

Preemie Clothes

So this week we were going through baby clothes - getting ready for baby #2's arrival. Chris saved the day by finding the tub with the preemie and 0-3 month clothes. He pulled out this outfit and showed it to Ian. This is one of the preemie outfits he wore when he was first born. I can't believe Ian was that small at one time. And it's quite amazing how much a little person can grow in 4 years. We tucked the preemie clothes back away - no preemie coming this time! Now to wait and see baby #2's size!

Dinner Club

We hosted dinner club two weeks ago and here were some of the highlights.

Pat has already taught Kael how to hold his own bottle so Kael was showing off for us!
Amber and Chris had a deep conversation. I have no idea what about but it looks pretty interesting. This while we were playing Chase The Ace and LRC. We had a fun night with our quarters!
Willa grew wings!

Overall it was a very enjoyable dinner club and we look forward to traveling to Omaha for Amber's turn!

Hanging Out

Last week I was sitting at the computer doing something and I noticed that Ian and Indie were enjoying some show on TV and had to get a picture. In the last couple of months Ian has really taken to loving and playing with our dogs. Which is nice because for the last 4 years Indie and Jack have not been priority #1 on our list. Ian loves playing fetch with them.
