Silly Ian!

Amanda (daycare) took this picture of Borne today.  Here's what her email said "Borne got high centered under our table this morning…I took a quick picture before rescuing him. Thought it was too cute…He is such a monkey!"  That says it all!!

Congratulations Karis & Jace!

Last night Karis (my old boss and a best friend for life!) went and got our nails and toes prettied up because Karis is getting married TODAY!!!  We had fun hanging out and talking - it does not happen often enough.  Can't wait to help you celebrate tonight and we wish you guys the very best.

Pool Time in Colorado

We went to Colorado last weekend for Cache's baptism.  Here are some fun pictures of the kids playing.

This was one of Borne's favorite places.  He would climb up on the bouncer all by himself and jump up and down.  It was super funny but also a little scary as he was about to fall the entire time. 

Hotel

A couple of weeks ago we stayed at a local hotel (we had a free night!).  They had an outdoor pool so Kathy, Nicki, Amy, Pat, Deni and Kael joined us for a little swim.

Borne - 9 month checkup

This morning we went in for Borne's 9 month checkup.  I still can't believe it's already 9 months old.  I've had over a week to come to this realization but it's still hard.  Time has gone really fast and he has changed SO much.

Here are his stats:
Height: 28 5/8" - 56%
Weight: 18lbs 12oz - 19%
Head: 18 1/4" - 75%

So as you can see he's a little taller than average, his head is bigger than average and his weight is pretty low.  I was looking through all of his well checks and at his 2 week he weighted 8lbs 7oz.  So in the last 8 1/2 months he's only gained 10lbs - kind of crazy.  He's doing things a little differently than Ian.

The nurse immediately looked at me and said "He's a mover - huh."  Exactly!!  Normally after they turn one they start loosing some of that baby fat but not Borne he's never really gotten it.

I have to say Borne is so much fun right now.  He moves all over the house and loves it when you chase him.  He starts crawling faster and giggles - it's the cutest thing ever.

He loves to get down on the floor and crawl all over you and almost wrestle around.  Ian loves this and I know Ian will enjoy this even more as Borne gets older and stronger. One of these days Borne will give Ian a run for his money!

He has four BIG teeth and he has a 5th popping through as we speak.  They are the cutest things ever!

Borne has not been feeling very good yesterday and today.  He has a little fever and just not a super happy camper.  As sad as it makes me to see him uncomfortable I had a little smile on my face last night when he cuddled with me.  He has never been a cuddler so to have him sit on my lap and lay his head on my shoulder for just a few minutes makes me happy.  I'm sure by tonight he'll be feeling better and won't get near my shoulder but I'm glad I got that little time in while he's been under the weather.

On Father's Day we got family pictures taken with all of The Nebesniak's.  It proved a little challenging with the weather but we got some great pictures.

Here's a picture of Kathy & Vic.  I could not ask for better in-law's.  I always feel at home at their house and love that we get to see them so much.  The boys are building strong wonderful relationships with these two because of the time we get to spend with them.  It's wonderful to watch!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kathy & Vic.  The photographer had them kiss and this was right after.  You can so see their personalities and it just makes me smile and feel the love they have for each other and their family.

Ian

At The Lake

Borne took his first trip to the lake over 4th of July weekend. It was lots of fun and he loved it! Everyone playing in the water.
Deni and Borne. Borne really just wanted the PB&J that Deni is hiding behind her back!

Ian tubed for the first time and did a good job. I think that will be a regular thing to do when Trevor and Shannon bring their boat - he loved it!

Borne first boat ride was not so much fun - he was very tired and very hungry!

Farm

On the 5th we went to Jim's (my mom's boyfriend) house for the evening. Ian loves it out there because there is lots of fun stuff to ride on!
