We went to a local mini golf course a couple of weeks ago and had a very fun time.
Here Chris and Ian are showing me their balls. We had a laugh (and I'm guessing everyone around us as well) when I very loudly said turn and look at mommy and show me your balls. Chris had blue, Ian black!

Cache
We got to meet Cache over Labor Day weekend (I know it's the end of June that I'm posting this but it's been a very busy month!). I was so excited because it was killing me that he was 10 weeks old and I had not seen him yet. It's also amazing how fast we forget how little they are. Meghan gave Cache to me and I almost put him on my hip like he could hold up his head and carry his body weight. Not so much! He is a cutie and I can't wait to see him again in a couple of weeks for his Baptism. I'm sure he's changed so much already!
I had to get a picture of Borne and Cache by each other but Cache was not liking it - he was hungry!
Once he was feed he was out! So cute!

Fishing Contest
Over the weekend while Chris and I were in Colorado my mom, dad and Daniel took Ian and Borne to the Lincoln Industries pinic. They had a fishing contest and Ian did really good. He caught 10 fish measuring from 4 1/2" to 7". He won a $20 gift card to Wal-Mart. He can't wait to use his "debit card" to buy a toy!

Last Day of Preschool
Ian's last day of preschool was May 27th. I don't think he quite realized what it meant to not be going back. The night before him and I took a trip to HyVee for groceries and also got his teacher Mrs. Jensen a flower and balloon. Ian picked everything out himself. He also got her a card. It was a Happy Birthday card with a dinosaur on the front. Inside it said something like. Happy Birthday to a very special boy. Hope you have a wonderful day. I told him a few times that we were getting a card for Mrs. Jensen not him. I said we need to find something she will like. He keep telling me "she will like this one." So we went with it. I think Mrs. Jensen did like it after all since he picked it out especially for her.
Ian loved preschool and we'll miss Dimensions and Mrs. Jensen but hopefully in a couple more years Borne can go there!

Dinosaur Shirt
Amanda, our daycare provider, is absolutely awesome and the day of Ian's birthday party she let all of the older kids make dinosaur shirts.
Here Ian is sporting his shirt. He is a pretty creative guy and his turned out pretty good. Amanda said that it was his idea to put the stencil down and paint around it and add the glitter. Good Job Ian!! I do love this picture becuase he looks so grown up and proud of his work. Makes me smile! :)
