Nebesniak Thanksgiving

Here are a couple of pictures of Ian and Deni playing at Thanksgiving. I think they said they were camels and they were taking each other for walks. Ian and Deni love playing together and it will be lots of fun to see them grow up together.

Thanksgiving

I got my small camera so I have some old pitures to post. These are a few from the Kershaw Thanksgiving in Spalding.

Ian's Artwork

Ian's Haircut

It seems like it takes forever for Ian's hair to grow so he does not get a haircut very often but Chris gave him one at the beginning of December. I had to laugh when I walked in on them in the bathroom and Chris had him sitting up on the counter. It worked well and Ian liked to watch in the mirror.

Train Cake

A couple weeks ago Grandma Kershaw brought Ian a train cake mold so we had to try it out. I was pretty impressed with the little decorating material we had on hand. Ian had a lot of fun and he got to share it with his friends at daycare!

Dinner Party - Baking Cookies

A couple weeks ago we had a Dinner Party at our house and Amber, Amy, Allison and Brooke came over early to make cookies. We made A LOT of cookies!!! They were all yummy!

Some of the yummy cookies

Chris did a good job cooking. He made Holubtski & Vyranaky. I made a cake for dessert but everyone was so full from the cookies no cake was eaten - the people I work with were very excited on Monday!
Ian of course helped as much as possible!

Christmas Tree

I've gotten a little behind on our blog. I'm posting a whole bunch of different things tonight and they are all out of order.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we got our Christmas tree up. Ian was so excited to help!

First, Chris got the tree standing up while Ian patiently waited.

Then I spread apart all of the branches so it looks like a real tree. Ian was still patiently waiting to help do something to our Christmas tree.

Then he got to help hang all of the ornaments. We just let him do whatever he wanted and this is a couple different shots of his work! Right about at knee level for a normal person and right on top of each other. It was perfect.

Then we put up the Nativity Scene. Ian was so concerned that all of the animals were going to get cold if they were not in the manger so he keep moving all of the animals in with Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus. Chris tried to explain that they had lots of fur and they staying warm but every time we turned around he was over there putting them back in after we had just taken them out - he was very concerned for those animals!
Then we tried to get a family picture in front of the tree. By this time Ian was ready to do something else and was not thrilled with taking a picture but this one turned out pretty good.

We hope all of you and your families have a wonderful Holiday!

Ian Sleeping

Chris got some cool pictures of Ian sleeping the other night. Some of my favorite pictures of Ian as a baby are of him sleeping.

Ryder's 4th Birthday Party!

This afternoon we got to have lots of fun bowling for Ryder's 4th birthday!

Ian was excited before we left our house. He had to carry Ryder's present the entire way there and was being silly while waiting for mom and dad.

Ian & Deni watching Ryder!

Ian has to sit and watch his ball go all the way down the lane which takes a long time! He was pretty excited about this one!
Ian & Deni were hamming it up for Aunt Amy - hopefully she'll have a good picture from the front!

While we were bowling we enjoyed some great pizza - I have no pictures - I guess Chris and I were stuffing our faces! I told you it was great pizza!

But then we got to the dessert - a Cookie Monster cupcake cake.
The kids loved it!

Ryder & Deni had a blue cupcake while Ian went for Cookie Monster's eye - he's in the bathtub now getting the black frosting out of his nose!

Then it was time for presents!

I guess Ian was a little concerned with how Ryder was opening presents.

We had lots of fun and it's hard to believe that Ryder is 4 - that means Ian will be 4 in only 5 months - scares me how fast time goes.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY RYDER!!
