Ian was playing with his blocks the other day and this is what he made. He was so proud of it he wanted a picture.

Kathy & Vic's Anniversary
A couple weeks ago we celebrated Kathy & Vic's 40th Wedding Anniversary.
This is a picture of the cake we had made with some fun pictures around!
We made just the kids recreate the family picture I found from when the kids were little. I think my husband is still a kid and should make funny faces!
This is what Ian, Marlee and Ryder did most of the time we were together - played Leapster.
Vic & Kathy feeding each other cake!
Here are all of the grandkids.
In the back Lainey is holding Kael. Then Lexi is holding Griffin. Grandpa Vic is holding Deegan. Grandma Kathy is holding Ryder, Borne and Deni. Then Marlee and Ian are in the front. Here's the whole Nebesniak family:
Two Parents. 5 Kids and 4 Kid-in-laws, and 10 Grandkids! There's been a lot going on in the last 40 years!!

Ian
So I don't have a picture for this post but I sure wish I did. Last night we had finished dinner and I was doing the dishes. Ian was getting out a juice box and I could tell he needed to go to the bathroom. I told him "you go to the bathroom and I'll get your juice box ready." So he ran towards the bathroom. Next thing I hear is him yelling "I need to go to the bathroom." I guess Chris was already in there so he told Ian to head downstairs. Ian came back out into the kitchen to tell me he was to scared to go downstairs.
So for about 2 minutes I tried to convince him that he should go downstairs. He was not up for it. I finally said "just go outside." I did not know if he would or not but sure enough he headed straight out our back door. I looked out the back window to watch him but he never came out of the breezeway so I looked out the back door and he was standing in the middle of our breezeway peeing. The breezeway that has carpet!
I could not believe it so I yelled at him to get outside. So he took two steps towards the open door and peed out the door. When he was finished I made him go to his room. But then Chris came into the kitchen and asked "what is going on out here?" I had to start laughing because it was the funniest picture in my mind looking out the back door to see Ian with his pants down in the breezeway peeing.
Sometimes a 4 year olds mind just works a little differently than ours.

Borne
Here are a few of Borne. I was just giving my mom a hard time because she found some pictures of me at 6 months and I had drool all over my face. Sure enough Borne had some on his face in multiple pictures. I guess you should never give some one a hard time when you could do the same thing.
Thanks to Marcus and Meghan for the very cute outfit that we got to use for these pictures. Super cute!!

Ian & Borne
We got pictures taken about 2 weeks ago. Borne is 3 months old and Ian is 4 1/2 years old. Ian was a trooper and took some great pictures. Borne did good for a little while but after just a little while he was done and we struggled through a couple more poses. We did get some good ones I know we'll all love to look back at.Thursday, February 4, 2010
My dad and Ian got an official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle from Daniel for Christmas. A couple weeks ago my dad let Ian shot it for the first time. I think after about 2 shots Ian had lost interest. Maybe when he's a little older! For now it will hang on the wall of my dad's "man room" above the official leg lamp!
