Family Pictures

We took some family pictures at the beginning of August for a couple of reasons.  1) One of our favorite photographers is moving to Denver so we wanted one last session with her. 2)  I thought it would be nice to have some family pictures before this baby comes in February.  3) Because I like to have a night of stress, anxiety, and 2 boys that do not like to cooperate - so a wonderful night for Chris (ha ha!).

We got some great pictures - even if there were two parents trying with all their power to make their sons sit, smile, no not fake smile, stop touching him, etc, etc!!

I look a little shell shocked in this picture - I must have been ready for the night to be over with!

Watch for more to come of just the boys!!

My nightly view

Almost every night for the last week or week and a half has been spend outside for us. The weather has been absolutely beautiful. I love the cool breeze. Being able to sleep with my windows open is my favorite part of fall. I'd love for this weather to stay around for the next three months!

I Love Sharpies!

So for the couple of weeks I have fallen in love with using the ultra fine sharpies. I've always used sharpies but the fatter ones. I got an ultra fine black and loved it. Then the following night we went into hobby lobby and you can buy individual colors (and they were 30% off!). And there are a.ton of them - all kinds of colors! I got five colors but I'm really wanting to go back and get more!

Borne had fun playing in the yard.  This picture is so true to Borne's personality.  It's like to turned at the last moment to look at Chris and say "What do you want?  I'm playing!"

Kael also enjoying the little outdoor playset that Willa very nicely let all the kids play on.  Such a sweet boy.

And a little fun would not be complete without Chris doing something.  He thought he would try and help Allison and Brad get some basic cable.  He's on his way down in this pictures.

First Day of School

Hard to believe Ian is in the 1st grade.  He learned so much last year and I'm sure we'll be amazed at how much he learns this year.

Ian went in for a hug and Borne thought it was pretty funny.

 Then Ian went in for a kiss on the cheek.  So cute.

Our big 1st grader.  Do you like this outfit?  We had purchased a new polo and I thought he'd want to wear it but he came out of his room like this and I figured he knows what he wants!

The other day Borne was screaming in Ian's room.  We ran in there to find something like this.  He was screaming because there were too many dirty clothes in the way and he could not get his entire body into the frog laundry basket.  Daddy helped move things around a little bit and then he was a happy camper.  But really for all that screaming it only latest about 5 minutes!
