Nursery Art

The last couple of weeks we've been doing tons of work to the house.  Mostly in the basement - a complete finish (yea!) but then also some stuff to the baby's room.  We repainted three of the walls and I'm trying to get some of the finishing touches done before this little girl arrives.  Yesterday I made some art purchases.  I'm so excited to get them in the mail - I think they will be lovely on the cream walls.  So I'm mainly going with brown, pink, and cream for the colors in the room - but I'm adding in some teal for contrast and an extra punch.  I purchased these at A Vintage Poster  I had seen one of her works on Pinterest and then she designed a piece for Sherry from Young House Love which I'm a loyal reader!  She got back to me with a few hours with a proof of what I wanted and I had them purchased by the end of the day.  I'm so excited to get these and get them on the wall.  This purchase got me very motivated to get the baby's room done - you'd think being due in 27 days might do it but no - new artwork does.  So Monday I'm taking off work and getting a long to-do list done!

If you like these you should check A Vintage Poster out - I'm pretty sure she can do anything - amazing!!

I'm getting this pretty peacock printed in 5x7 size.

I love the book by Dr. Seuss and thought this saying would be perfect on her wall.  This is going to be 8x10.

Everyone needs the alphabet in their room.  This is going to be 11x14.

I will try and post pictures once they are hung!
