First Lost Tooth

Friday I was running late to pick Ian up from school so I go running up towards the front door where I see Ian and his teacher waiting.  I say "I'm here."  The teacher turns and says "Guess what Ian did today."  Ian turned to me and did this:

He pulled his first tooth out.  It has been loose for a couple of weeks but then last week it started getting really loose.  I guess he was standing in line and twisted it a little and it popped out.  No tears or blood.  I'd say that's a pretty good first experience loosing a tooth!

That night Kathy & Vic watched the boys while we went to my work party.  While there, Ian wrote a letter.  Here's what it said:

I want to keep my clean white tooth.  I hope that is ok with you.  Thank You. Ian

So he left out his little yellow treasure chest with the tooth and this note for the tooth fairy.

The next morning the tooth fairy was nice enough to leave the tooth for Ian along with $2.00.  Lucky Boy!
